Hello on behalf of the Army soldier records branch welcome to the third video segment on the record review tool in the previous segments we provided information pertaining to the different procedures to initiate reviews this video will demonstrate how to conduct a per soldier present personnel review the main purpose for conducting this review is to ensure that data on the record brief is correct and all source documents required for filing in the AMH are our army military human resource record are in I perm more information and the requirement documents list can be found on our website this review will be conducted using the most current record brief and leave an earning statement this review does not take the place of the annual DD 93 s govt update requirements in the mill PO and this review does not take the place of validating the board file personnel record review with soldier present documents in the personnel record review are organized by categories subfolders that are aligned to the sections on the record brief assignment deployment contains assignment and deployment orders and information service data contains service contracts security checks and language qualification information personal data citizenship group of birth and any other dependency documents education contains civilian and military education documents awards and decorations contain commendatory documents follow the steps to initiate a review select open review and this will take you to the review details screen select the documents tab at the top of the screen select the assignment deployment tab on the Left navigation review each document select the first document on the list ensure the document belongs to the soldier is legible and is annotated on the record brief if there is a discrepancy with a document such as belongs to another soldier duplicate illegible the record manager will put a comment in the reviewer document comment, and we'll create a problem case the record manager will also put these comments in the reviewers comments box at the bottom of the screen value to do so will prevent the record manager from signing the review no do not annotate DD 93's or SO B's as being duplicates as they will not be removed repeat this process for each document listed in each of the folders in the education folder the record manager may not see as many documents that validate the courses listed in the military education block on the record brief the source documents are in the form of 1059 and these are not visible in the record review in the awards and decorations folder it is recommended that you put the name and the order number of the document in the reviewer document comments, so it will be easy to identify if there are any documents missing or permanently missing the record manager will annotate these in the missing documents' area this area is broken down to areas temporary missing and permanently missing temporary missing is utilized for documents that the soldier...
