How to fill out play bridge

How to play bridge:

01
Understand the objective: The goal of bridge is to score points by winning tricks (rounds of cards) with your partner. The team with the highest number of points at the end wins the game.
02
Learn the card ranking: In bridge, the cards are ranked from highest to lowest as Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2.
03
Form a team: Bridge is played with four players, divided into two partnerships. Each player sits opposite their teammate.
04
Deal the cards: One player shuffles the deck thoroughly and then deals the cards one by one in a clockwise direction, starting from the player to their left. Each player receives 13 cards.
05
Bidding phase: Starting with the dealer, each player has a chance to "bid" or declare how many tricks they think their partnership can win. Bidding is done by stating a number and a suit (spades, hearts, diamonds, or clubs) that is their preferred trump suit.
06
Partner communication: During the bidding phase, partners can communicate using a specific bidding language (such as Standard American or Acol) to convey information about their hand strength and distribution.
07
Determine the contract: The final bid determines the "contract," which is the number of tricks and the trump suit that the declaring partnership needs to win.
08
Play the hand: The player to the left of the declarer (player who made the final bid) leads the first card, and the other players must follow suit if possible. The highest-ranking card of the led suit wins the trick, and the winning player leads the next trick.
09
Score the tricks: After all 13 tricks have been played, each partnership counts the number of tricks they won. If they meet or exceed their contract, they score points; otherwise, they receive penalties.
10
Repeat and rotate: The deal passes to the next player in a clockwise direction, and the process is repeated for the next hand. The game continues, with players rotating as the dealer.
