How to fill out basic life supportadvanced life

How to Fill Out Basic Life Support/Advanced Life:
01
Start by assessing the situation: Evaluate if the person is responsive or unconscious. Check for a pulse and breathing.
02
If the person is unresponsive and not breathing or has no pulse, begin CPR immediately. Place the heel of one hand in the center of the person's chest, and place the other hand on top. Use your body weight to deliver chest compressions at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute.
03
After 30 compressions, give two rescue breaths. Tilt the person's head back, pinch their nose shut, and create an airtight seal over their mouth with yours. Breathe into their mouth for about one second, making sure their chest rises. Repeat this process once more.
04
Continue with cycles of 30 chest compressions and two rescue breaths until professional help arrives or the person shows signs of life.
05
If an automated external defibrillator (AED) is available, use it as soon as possible. Follow the device's instructions for proper placement of the pads and delivering a shock if advised.
06
Monitor the person's condition and provide care as appropriate. Stay with them until medical professionals take over.
