After some time of observing your thoughts, shift your attention to your sense perceptions. Notice the sounds, smells, tastes, and physical sensations around you. Again, just observe them without getting caught up in them.

As you become more aware of your sense perceptions, shift your attention to your sense of self. Notice any beliefs, identities, or attachments that arise, and observe them without judgment.

Once you have observed your sense of self, shift your attention to your sense of interconnectedness with all beings. Cultivate a sense of compassion and connectedness with others.

After cultivating a sense of interconnectedness, shift your attention to the present moment. Notice the ever-changing nature of reality, and embrace the impermanence of all things.

As you continue to be present in the moment, shift your attention to your sense of awareness itself. Notice the pure awareness that underlies all of your experiences.

Once you have become deeply aware of your sense of awareness, shift your attention to the qualities of the awakened mind. Cultivate qualities such as joy, compassion, equanimity, and wisdom.

After cultivating the qualities of the awakened mind, shift your attention to the nature of mind itself. Investigate the true nature of your own mind, beyond concepts and labels.

As you explore the nature of mind, shift your attention to the ultimate nature of reality. Investigate the interplay of emptiness and form, and cultivate a sense of non-dual awareness.

Once you have gained insight into the ultimate nature of reality, shift your attention to the path of liberation. Cultivate a deep intention and commitment to the path of awakening.
