How to fill out cpr or first aid

01
First, assess the situation and ensure that you and the victim are in a safe environment.
02
Check for responsiveness by tapping the victim's shoulder and asking if they are okay.
03
If the victim does not respond, call emergency services immediately.
04
Open the victim's airway by tilting their head back and lifting their chin.
05
Check for breathing by placing your ear near their mouth and nose, looking for chest rise and fall, and feeling for breath on your cheek.
06
If the victim is not breathing, begin chest compressions. Place the heel of one hand on the center of the victim's chest (between the nipples) and interlock your other hand on top.
07
Push hard and fast, aiming for a rate of about 100-120 compressions per minute. Allow the chest to fully recoil between compressions.
08
If you are trained and comfortable doing so, you can also provide rescue breaths. Pinch the victim's nose closed, cover their mouth with yours, and give 2 breaths, each lasting about 1 second. Ensure that the chest rises with each breath.
09
Continue CPR until help arrives or the victim shows signs of life. If an automated external defibrillator (AED) is available, follow the prompts and use it if necessary.
10
Remember to stay calm and focused throughout the process. Provide reassurance to the victim if they regain consciousness.
