If approved, USCIS will issue you a new Employment Authorization Document (EAD) with a validity period of 24 months.

Students who have completed a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and wish to continue their employment in the United States after the initial 12-month Optional Practical Training (OPT) period.
