This is Katie LOS good morning heartland and welcome back with our three deer hunting here in firearms deer hunting coming up the Missouri Department conservation is offering free field to freezer classes on how to process the popular game animal Rob Garber with the Missouri Department conservation is here this morning to tell us more about the class and about a new program that the Missouri Department of Conservation is introducing to everyone out there how are you doing today great on you, I'm doing great so really quickly touch base on this class when is it taking place November second 6pm out of our office okay it's a pretty basic course later for those that maybe have never attended one what will what can they expect well have hopefully this is all dependent on dear each year but hopefully well have a couple deer out there, and I'll have one of them that it is already ready to get the cuts of meat off of and then one of them that Ill actually demonstrate some different ways to skin a deer and so well talk about some different methods on from field to freezer all the steps to cut the different cuts of meat off of the animal and package it at different ways to turn it into table fare okay perfect do you need to preregister does it cost anything no it's all free do need to preregister though we need to call out to the office and well get you signed up in years pass this class is filled up so if you want to attend you need to go ahead and get signed up okay perfect now lets go ahead and talk about this new program that the Missouri Department conservation is now offering it's called Missouri outdoor recreational acres our access program excuse me tell us more about that this is a program when were working with landowners trying to get it's an opportunity for landowners to earn a little of extra income will be used it would be using their property kind of s public lands, so the landowners would come to an agreement with the Department were looking for 40 40 continuous acres and there are different options for them to choose as far as what they would allow on their property so for public use it could be hunting and fishing for all seasons, or it could just be youth hunting or there's some several options that they can choose from, and you said that just a little extra income for them, so you actually be paying them for using their land correct yes and that will depend on what habitat they have and what improvements they were they're planning to make, so they'll sit down to make an agreement and its kind of vary between fifteen and twenty-five dollars per acre okay perfect well it's a good opportunity out there because I know a lot of people have a lot of unit land, and sometimes they don't even use all that land so right now put it to good use and get some extra change in your pocket so what well do is well post everything on our website you have anything else to add I'm sorry can you up were getting a little closer to deer season, and we were...
