How to fill out first aid and CPR:

01
Begin by ensuring your own safety and the safety of the victim. Assess the scene and make sure there are no immediate dangers or hazards present.
02
Check the victim's responsiveness by asking if they are okay and gently shaking their shoulders. If there is no response, yell for help and call emergency services immediately.
03
Open the victim's airway by tilting their head back and lifting their chin. This helps to ensure proper airflow to the lungs.
04
Check for breathing by placing your ear close to their mouth and nose, looking for chest rise, and feeling for any breath on your cheek. If the victim is not breathing or only gasping, begin CPR.
05
Perform chest compressions by placing the heel of your hand in the center of the victim's chest, slightly above the bottom of the breastbone. Interlock your fingers and keep your arms straight. Push hard and fast, aiming for a rate of at least 100-120 compressions per minute.
06
After every 30 compressions, give two rescue breaths. Pinch the victim's nose shut, create a seal over their mouth with yours, and give two breaths that make their chest rise. Each breath should last about one second.
07
Continue performing cycles of 30 compressions and two breaths until help arrives or the victim starts breathing on their own.
08
Once help arrives, update them on what has happened and let them take over the situation.
09
It is crucial to stay calm and focused throughout the process, following the guidelines learned in a certified first aid and CPR training course.
