How to fill out chain of responsibility

How to fill out chain of responsibility

01
To fill out the chain of responsibility, follow these steps:
02
Define a base abstract handler class that has a method to handle requests and a reference to the next handler.
03
Implement concrete handler classes that inherit from the base handler class. Each concrete handler should override the handle method and decide whether to process the request or pass it to the next handler.
04
Connect the handlers in a chain by setting the next handler reference in each handler's constructor or through setter methods.
05
Start the chain by calling the handle method on the first handler. The request will flow through the chain until it is processed or reaches the end of the chain.
06
Use the chain of responsibility pattern when you have a set of objects that can handle a request in different ways, and you want to give clients the ability to send a request without knowing which object will handle it.
07
This pattern is useful when you want to decouple senders and receivers, and when the set of handlers can change dynamically at runtime.

Who needs chain of responsibility?

01
The chain of responsibility pattern can be useful in the following scenarios:
02
- When you have a number of objects that can handle a request, and the handler is determined dynamically at runtime.
03
- When you want to decouple the sender and receiver of a request, and avoid having them explicitly reference each other.
04
- When you want to allow multiple objects to handle a request without the sender needing to know which object will handle it.
05
- When you want to add or remove handlers from the chain dynamically without affecting other objects in the system.
