Step 7: If an AED is available, turn it on and follow the voice prompts for proper use. Apply the AED pads to the person's bare skin as directed and allow the AED to analyze their heart rhythm. Follow the prompts for delivering a shock if advised.

Step 8: If the person starts breathing normally or shows signs of life, place them in the recovery position and monitor them until medical help arrives.

Step 9: Remember to stay calm and follow the instructions of emergency medical professionals when they arrive.
