What is a Ready, Set, Learn Application?
Ready, Set, Learn is a school readiness initiative. It was created for children from 3 to 5 years old and sponsored by the Ministry of Education. To enroll in this program it is necessary to file a special application.
What is the Ready, Set, Learn Application for?
The program itself has several purposes. It is created for assisting local community partners and elementary schools, providing families with community contacts and useful information, proving schools with services to families and an opportunity to promote their programs, and facilitating an environment for the partners of the community. Completing this application, you fulfill all these purposes.
When is the Ready, Set, Learn Application Due?
This application may be filed any time. It does not have a specific due date.
Is the Ready, Set, Learn Application Accompanied by Other Forms?
No, the application does not require any attachments.
What Information do I Include in the Ready, Set, Learn Application?
First the applicant must indicate such personal information as the name, social security number, address and phone number. The following information about every household must be provided in the application: name, social security number, age, date of birth and gross income in past 30 days. After that it is required to indicate the names, sex and name of school of the children who participate in the program. Sign and date the document in the end.
Where do I Send the Ready, Set, Learn Application?
The application must be sent to the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
