Hello everyone welcome to another edition of in Vera at the board today we're going to talk about two of the most important reports that need to be prepared and submitted under the title five programs now there are a lot of requirements under title 5, but the most important one is simply to operate the facility in compliance with all other conditions and terms associated with the title 5 permits now inside that that requires you to maintain your equipment in good operating condition it requires you to keep records of everything maintenance activities as well as everything related to the process and monitoring as related to the permit it requires you to monitor and identify deviations and deviations as simple can simply be defined as any time you observe non-compliance with the conditions of the permit it also requires you to submit reports and that includes reports disclosing instances of non-compliance associated with operating your facility under the title 5 programs, and it also requires you to submit other reports we won't get into all of them we'll just talk about two of them here the two reports include the semiannual monitoring report as well as the annual compliance certification and so in a nutshell those are the general requirements of the title 5 programs now in this video we're only going to be talking about the semiannual monitoring report as well as the annual compliance certification there are other reports that need to be submitted under the title 5 programs, but we're not going to talk about those in this video we're only going to focus our efforts to these reports here and so let's start with the semiannual monitoring report and within the industry this is otherwise or sometimes referred to as the Sam report so the Sam report is due to the EPA as well as the ADMD by February 28th, and we have the February 28th due date here because that will cover the reporting period that just ended which would be July to December now if you were you know if you're watching this video with some other time of the year and your monitoring period is actually from January to June then you would need to submit that report by August 30th 60 days after the end of the reporting period but being that we're here in January this report is due to the EPA as well as the ADMD 60 days after the end of the year that puts it at February 28th and this report simply is a summary of whether the facility has completed all the monitoring required by the terms and conditions a suit or issued or noted in the title 5 permits during the reporting period, so again it's simply a summary of whether the facility has completed all the monitoring required by the permit during the reporting period now when preparing this report you'll look at monitoring and answer the question if the monitoring has been completed, but you will also need to look to see if any deviations or other anomalies have occurred during the reporting period that will include deviations are simply...
