Searching for a form that I had… Searching for a form that I had difficulty finding elsewhere, I found it here upon oa couple tries. Having trouble with the editing, which I always do. Word does not have a default timeline template, but you can insert a basic timeline in your document going to the Insert tab and selecting SmartArt. Then, in the Choose a SmartArt Graphic gallery, click Process and select one of the two timeline formats there - Basic Timeline or Circle Accent Timeline.
Click “+” in the bottom-right corner. Select a blank document or a timeline template to customize. (We have included some of those templates at the end of this article.) Modify the template or drag and drop shapes to create a timeline of events.
