Helpful, does what I need to do. The only reason I gave it four stars is because you can't see the comments unless you are online and sometimes I am traveling to places without wifi access so it would be nice to view my downloaded documents and see the comments I attached to them.

Your EAD renewal application will take approximately 60-90 days to process. For EAD renewal, there is no option to expedite the application. If you have your original approval notice from USCIS and your employer permits, you may continue working while your replacement application is being processed.
The receipt number appears on Form I-797C in the Receipt Number field. The filing date (the date USCIS received the application) appears in the Received Date field. This date should be on or before the “Card Expires” date on the EAD.
To calculate the new expiration date: Add 540 or 180 days to the EAD “Card Expires” date, whichever time period is applicable depending on the “Received Date” on Form I-797C. Compare the 540-day or 180-day auto-extended date to the Form I-94 end date. Whichever date is earlier is the new EAD expiration date.
If your EAD is lost, stolen or destroyed, you may request a replacement EAD by filing a new Form I-765 and filing fee (if required), unless a fee waiver is requested and approved. If you did not receive an EAD that USCIS mailed, you can submit an inquiry on non-delivery of a card.
In general, it takes about 150–210 days (5–7 months) for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to process Form I-765. Previously, USCIS processed work permit applications within 90 days, but a growing backlog has caused additional delays.
Like almost every other application related to the Department of Homeland Security, the I-765 employment authorization has some conditions. It also has an expiration date, so it is subject to renewal before it expires.
