This is an excellent tool to use to complete paperwork to save and email or fax back on the fly. You can print afterward, or as soon as you complete your paperwork. Saves so much time, and paper, as you don't have to print.complete.scan and then send.

Mostly good - had a little difficulty when the app decided I could only answer 1 category when I needed to respond to all 5 subcategories of a question. Also, messed with the date - it changed to a different format.

Click the File tab, and then click Save As. ... In the Save as type box, choose the CSV (Comma delimited) file format for the worksheet. Browse to the location where you want to save the new text file, and then click Save. A dialog box appears, reminding you that only the current worksheet will be saved to the new file.
A file with the XLSX file extension is a Microsoft Excel Open XML Format Spreadsheet file. It's a ZIP-compressed, XML-based spreadsheet file created by Microsoft Excel version 2007 and later.
To view your XLSX or XLS files, download our free file viewer and drag and drop the .XLSX or .XLS file onto the program window. File Viewer Lite will open the file and display the document in its native format as if you were viewing the document with Microsoft Excel.
Go to File > Save As to open a pop-up box for saving the Excel document. Next to File Format, at the bottom of that window, choose PDF. Take note of the options just below the format selection drop-down box. ... Click or touch Save to convert the Excel file to PDF on your Mac.
Access the Microsoft Downloads website. Type "Compatibility Tool" in the search box. Download the Compatibility Tool. ... Open Excel 2003 and locate an Excel 2007 workbook. Click "File" on the menu bar, then click "Open." Browse your files and locate the workbook.
XLS files can be opened with any version of Microsoft Excel. You can open XLS files without Microsoft Excel using Microsoft's free Excel Viewer, which supports opening and printing XLS files, as well as copying data out of them.
Click the File tab on the Ribbon. Select Options. The Excel Options dialog box displays. Select Save from the options navigation bar. Select Excel Workbook from the Save files in this format dropdown box:
Open the workbook you want to save. Click File > Save As. Under Places, pick the place where you want to save the workbook. ... In the Save As dialog box, navigate to the location you want. In the Save as type list, click the file format you want.
If you are saving it in the older Excel 97-2003 format, then it is possible that the losses you are seeing are due to the formatting not being supported in the older format. This is particularly true with colors and conditional formatting. The other possible cause is that the workbook file is corrupted in some manner.
Click File > Export > Change File Type. Under Workbook File Types, double-click Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls). In the Save As popup window, choose a folder location for the workbook. In the File name box, type a new file name (or use the one that's already there). Click Save.
