Starting on the first day of your last period, just count out the average number of days between your periods (aka your average cycle length that you calculated) and that gives you the projected start date of your next period.
Menstruation: Days 1 5 Day 1 of your cycle is the first day of your period, meaning the first day of full flow (spotting doesn't count). During this time, the uterus sheds its lining from the previous cycle.
A predictable bleeding pattern: Every woman's menstrual bleeding follows its own pattern. For many women, a monthly period begins with light spotting, gets heavier for a day or two, and then gets gradually lighter, ending with spotting.
The biggest difference between spotting and your period is the amount of blood. A period can last for several days and require a tampon or pad to control your flow. However, spotting produces much less blood and doesn't typically require the use of these products.
For many women, this can be anywhere between 11 days and 21 days after the first day of your last period. Ovulation spotting may be light pink or red, and will last for about 1 to 2 days in the middle of your cycle.
You may experience some light bleeding before your period, which is called spotting. It is very important that you log these very light bleeding only as 'spotting', and to log 'period' only when the bleeding increases in flow. You should add 'period' for as long as your period bleeding lasts.

Spotting usually is much lighter bleeding than normal menstrual bleeding. Unlike a normal period, it is usually so light that a pad or tampon is not required. Spotting may be red or brown and occurs when you are not having your regular period. Irregular periods.
