Initial problem was apparently that I had failed to save the (almost) completed form that I had made, and when I went bace to it, only the original blank form was available. I see the error of my way. Quite interested in learning lots more about program and the ways it couod be useful to me.

How can I copy text directly from a PDF?
Copy text and images from PDFs Right-click the document, and choose Select Tool from the pop-up menu. Drag to select text, or click to select an image. Right-click the selected item, and choose Copy.
How do I copy Uncopyable text in Chrome?
To copy text from a blocked site in Chrome, open Chrome and the website or page you want to copy from. Right-click on the webpage to reveal a drop-down menu of options. Do not highlight any text first. Select “View Page Source” or “Inspect.” The latter option takes you directly to the specific area in the source code.
Why can't I Copy text from PDF?
You may have received an access-restricted PDF. The original author of the file may not have wanted other users to copy information directly out of the document and thus used a PDF editor to restrict those functions. Again, you should contact the original author where possible if you need many passages from the text.
