Works well Works well. Just wish there was a way to sign without the added date and time and logo. No one cares about the logo, they just want a signature that appears real. I still have to print, sign and scan, because of that one issue. Kind of makes it worthless to be able to fill out on line.

A marriage certificate is a document that proves you're married. Typically, couples obtain a marriage license, hold the wedding ceremony, and then have the officiant files the certificate in the appropriate county office within days. The married couple will then receive a certified copy of the marriage certificate.
In most cases, you are still considered married without registering the license. For example, California law requires the officiant to return the marriage license to the county clerk or recorder within 10 days of the ceremony. If, for some reason, this does not happen, you are still married.
PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING APPLICATION or before the expiration date of the license. Licenses not used within this timeframe are void. The appropriate fee may be paid in cash or by check, payable to the county clerk. No refunds are given for marriage licenses purchased in error.

In most cases, you are still considered married without registering the license. For example, California law requires the officiant to return the marriage license to the county clerk or recorder within 10 days of the ceremony. If, for some reason, this does not happen, you are still married.
How soon after the wedding ceremony do I need to return the marriage license? Ten (10) days.
