How do I convert a PDF to a digital signature?

Open your PDF document. Right-click in the PDF document where you want to add the Digital signature. Select Sign Document from the right-click menu. Select Digital Signature.

Can you design a PDF?

Click the Sign icon, then Add Signature. In the signature panel that opens, click Image, then Select image to browse to an image of your signature. You can also use initials or type or draw your signature. Click Apply to place your electronic signature in the signature field or anywhere in the PDF.

Why can I not electronically sign a PDF?

Signing a form in Reader requires special right have to be assigned to the PDF by the creator of the form and for signatures, this requires the use of a special server. Maybe they expect you to print out the form, sign it with pen and ink, and then either fax it or scan it into another PDF and email the signed form.
