Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Most 13-year-old teens are dealing with the emotional and physical changes that accompany puberty. It's normal for your teen to feel uncertain, moody, sensitive, and self-conscious at times. And during this time, it becomes more important than ever to fit in with peers.
Don't forget to breathe. Your kid will survive this year. Spend 'neutral' time together. Stay calm. Don't take the stink eye personally. Get other adults in her life. Urge her to pursue healthy activities. Don't let her isolate herself. Take time to talk.
Turning 13 is a big deal, so a 13th birthday party should be a big deal too. This can be the birthday which some parents like to mark with a special ceremony; a type of initiation, if you will, into adulthood.
At 13 you can: Be employed occasionally by parents doing light gardening or farming work subject to the local authority bylaws where you live. Be employed by other people doing light work specified in, and subject to, the local authority bylaws where you live (e.g. your local newspaper shop to do a paper round).
The age limit is 13 because of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which was passed in 1998. COPPA restricts websites from tracking data on children under 13, which is why most apps do not want kids younger than 13 to join.

Learn to ignore the eye roll. Don't confuse sexy with sexual. Go beyond the birds and the bees. Tolerate their self-absorption. Use caution when discussing their friends. Call out bad behavior. Be the grown-up. Let them learn from small failures.
When you are 16 you are allowed to: Get married or register a civil partnership with consent. Drive a moped or invalid carriage. You can consent to sexual activity with others aged 16 and over.
The doctor or nurse will also check your teen's body. Measure height and weight and figure out your teen's body mass index (BMI) Check your teen's blood pressure. Check your teen's vision and hearing. Check your teen's body parts (this is called a physical exam)
Sometimes guys get erections during testicular exams. It's a normal reaction, and it happens a lot. If you get an erection during a physical exam, it won't upset or bother the doctor, so there's no need to feel embarrassed.
For some puberty can start earlier or later, and this is completely normal. It tends to last until a person is around 16. In girls, puberty before the age of 8 is atypical. It is also considered atypical if a girl has not developed breasts by the time she is 13, or has not started her periods by the age of 16.
Brain Maturity Extends Well Beyond Teen Years Under most laws, young people are recognized as adults at age 18. But emerging science about brain development suggests that most people don't reach full maturity until the age 25.
Legally, the term child may refer to anyone below the age of majority or some other age limit. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child defines child as “a human being below the age of 18 years unless under the law applicable to the child, majority is attained earlier”.
A 15-year-old is an adolescent -- no longer a child, but not yet an adult either. There are lots of physical changes, but it's also a time of big intellectual, social, and emotional development.
Don't be a hypocrite. Don't pamper us so much. Don't be inconsistent about standards and discipline. Don't treat us as though we're younger or less responsible than we are. Don't gang up on us. Be a good role model. Don't compare or contrast siblings. No name-calling or labeling.
