what's going on YouTube Joshua here in southeast gales comm ever been frustrated with your baitcaster maybe you got a new duel breaking baitcaster one with magnetic and centrifugal breaking well I'm going to show you how to fine-tune it today so you can catch some of these alright so you're new to your baitcaster and you make this cast o nasty and you feel like this and this is what you want to do so I know baitcasting can be frustrating especially for beginners and avid fisherman alike now sometimes I have my off days but I've already showed you how to fine-tune a bait caster and I'll link that link in the description below so be sure to check it out today's topic of discussion is how to fine-tune a bait caster with a dual braking system this one has both the centrifugal and the Magnetic cast control now having this dual option is great because it gives you additional protection from the nasty bird's nest let's jump in and I'll show you exactly how to do it alright so the first thing you want to do is compress this little plastic lever here on the rail at the left side plate and once you do that you turn the side plate counterclockwise and this is going to be the same for most baitcasting reels that i've seen on the market so go ahead and gently remove this side plate here and what I want to show you now the centrifugal pens are different in many of the reels but in a large majority of them they're actually the same now you'll see I have 1 2 3 4 5 6 plastic pins that are spring-loaded now what you want to do is either press them in or out to engage the pins so if you're a beginner you may want to engage all of the pins if you're you know pretty avid fishermen and you've been casting a bait caster for a while maybe you deploy one or two and sometimes none at all so and you can see it's simple as pressing them just like that now you'll see when you engage this little pin that when I press that up you'll see the little plastic piece and that is the piece that goes and forces itself and creates friction on the ring and that is what ultimately slows down the spool so the ring that I'm referring to is this ring here so those plastic pins push and force their self outward on the inside of this creating friction to slow the speed of the spool which ultimately helps prevent birdsnest so you can see now I'm on the zero setting so the magnets are as far back as possible now when I turn this dial all the way to the largest setting you'll start to see that those magnets come forward and that is how it slows down ultimately slows down the spool so now I'm going to show you everything together on how to make the quick adjustment to prevent birds nests all together with the dual braking system so I've activated one pin because I'm an avid fisherman I fish all the time I could probably use no pens now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna turn this magnetic casket roll to say a three that gets me feeling pretty comfortable now last but not least and very important...
