How can I get attested?
Character certificate can only be attested by Police record verification and Group A gazetted officer. For copies of original documents, both Group A and Group B officers can attest the documents. The name, designation and contact number of the gazetted officer should be clearly mentioned.
Can you get arrested without going to jail?
An arrest occurs when a police officer takes a person into custody. However, arrest is not synonymous with being taken to jail. People questioned by police officers are not under arrest unless the officers indicate that they are not free to leave.
Can you be convicted without being arrested?
So, yes. It is quite possible for a person to be convicted of a felony without being advised of his/her Miranda rights. It is also possible for a person to be indicted without being arrested. Furthermore, it's not unconstitutional at all.
What happens when a person is arrested?
A person may be charged with a crime before they are arrested. If this happens, a judge will issue a warrant for the person's arrest. A police officer will attempt to locate the person who is the subject of the warrant. The person will then be held in police custody pending a court hearing.
Can you get arrested in court?
Yes you can arrest to accuse in COURT. An arrest is the act of apprehending a person and taking them into custody, usually because they have been suspected of committing or planning a crime. After the person is taken into custody, they can be questioned further and/or charged.
Is getting a ticket the same as being arrested?
A traffic ticket is not an arrest. An arrest occurs when an officer takes you into custody, and you are booked into jail. Only crimes that carry a fine or jail time of up to 30 days can be charged on a traffic ticket. All others must be charged using an arrest warrant or indictment.
