How to Use the Identity eSign Free Information Feature

The Identity eSign Free Information feature is a powerful tool that allows you to easily collect and manage information from your recipients when sending documents for e-signature. Follow these steps to make the most out of this feature:

Access the Identity eSign Free Information feature by logging in to your pdfFiller account and navigating to the document you want to send for e-signature.

Click on the 'More' button located at the top right corner of the document editor.

From the dropdown menu, select 'Identity eSign Free Information'.

A sidebar will appear on the right side of the document editor. This is where you can add and customize the information fields you want your recipients to fill out.

To add a new information field, click on the 'Add Field' button at the top of the sidebar.

Choose the type of field you want to add, such as 'Text', 'Date', 'Checkbox', or 'Dropdown'.

Customize the field by giving it a label, setting it as required or optional, and defining any validation rules if necessary.

Repeat steps 5 to 7 to add more information fields as needed.

Once you have added all the desired information fields, click on the 'Save' button at the bottom of the sidebar.

You can now send the document for e-signature as usual. When your recipients receive the document, they will be prompted to fill out the information fields before they can proceed with the e-signature process.

After your recipients have filled out the information fields and completed the e-signature process, you can access the collected information by opening the document in your pdfFiller account and navigating to the 'Identity eSign Free Information' section.

In the 'Identity eSign Free Information' section, you will find a summary of the collected information, including the recipient's name, email, and any other custom fields you added.

You can export the collected information as a CSV file for further analysis or integration with other systems by clicking on the 'Export' button in the 'Identity eSign Free Information' section.
