In ways its harder to use, does not put signs in for you and does not calculate for you like the regular form.. but this is the only way I can save my form and make copies and edit it so this kind of saved me a ton of time!

I first tried PDFfiller with a trial subscription and to be honest, I really just wanted it so I could add text to a document and I didn't plan to extend my subscription. But after trying it, I liked it so much, I continued the subscription after the trial and my subscription expires in 2 days and I plan to renew for another year. I'm a freelance paralegal and often need to add text (and complete forms) in .pdf format. The program is also very easy to use and has many great features (like "erase" and different font styles and sizes). My subscription has more than paid for itself and I would - and do - highly recommend PDFfiller to anyone looking for this type of program.

Have your vehicle's license plate number and last three digits of the vehicle identification number (VIN) ready. Enter them into our DMV registration status check tool along with the zip code where your vehicle is registered.
You can renew your registration without the renewal notice that the DMV sends by mail. The DMV prints your renewal notice many weeks before the date that the DMV mails the notice to you. The DMV normally mails the renewal notice approximately 60 days before the date your current registration expires.
If you do not receive a notice, submit a California Driver License Renewal by Mail Eligibility Information (DL 410) form to review your ability to renew by mail. If you are not eligible to renew by mail, go online or call 1-800-777-0133 to make an appointment to renew your driver license.
You could always contact the CA DMV to check your car registration status at (800) 777-0133.
To obtain a duplicate registration card: Complete an Application for Replacement Plates, Stickers, Documents (REG 156) (PDF). Include the vehicle license plate number, your true full name, current address, your driver license number and signature.
The temporary registration is valid until you receive the license plates and stickers, or for 90 days from the date of sale.
Write down the vehicle identification number (VIN) on a piece of paper. You will need these items on hand before dialing your state's Department of Motor Vehicle office. Call your state's DMV office. You may be prompted to press a number to reach the department for title and registration.
