What do you like best?
The customer support is phenomenal. They always answer quickly and fix whatever issue i have. The actual software does it's supposed to and increases my productivity x10. There are features included to import government forms easily or you can upload your own. The templates are easy to create and to make new documents using.
What do you dislike?
The amount of options can be overwhelming. It seems like the product can do so much and would take a long time to fully understand or use. The speed of the application is actually pretty fast but its not a literal immediate load time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn to import your forms directly from their bank of existing forms. Be careful when editing fields so that you don't overwrite existing functionality. If you need help don't hesitate to do a live chat and screen share. Their chat agents will fix any issue you have. I've had them help me multiple times.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use it to fill out government tax forms, specifically form 1098c for our nonprofit organization. The primary benefit is a secure place to share and store all our documents that we can search and edit when we need. This software saves us an immense amount of time. It provides a method to update and edit documents in minutes with recurring pages that would otherwise take 4x times longer fill out and complete. We generally only use this form an IRS form specifically but i can see the use case for many types of companies and situations.

This really works My over all experience was pretty good I really like this software and would reccomend it to everyone it is definitely my top choice. I liked the fact that you could take virtually any document and fill in the spaces with the information of your own. It really makes things a lot easier I didnt like how you couldn't delete words that were already there I wish it was all in one app instead of having to download 3 or 4 different apps to get what I want done accomplished

How to Use the Lock Highlight Text Feature in pdfFiller

The Lock Highlight Text feature in pdfFiller allows you to securely highlight text in your PDF documents. Follow these simple steps to use this feature:

Open the PDF document you want to work with in pdfFiller.

Click on the 'Highlight' tool in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Select the text you want to highlight by clicking and dragging your cursor over it.

Once the text is selected, a toolbar will appear with various options. Click on the 'Lock' icon to lock the highlight.

A pop-up window will appear asking you to set a password for the locked highlight. Enter a secure password and click 'OK'.

The selected text will now be highlighted and locked. You can still view the highlight, but it cannot be edited or removed without the password.

To unlock the highlight, simply click on it and enter the password you set.

You can also change the password for a locked highlight by right-clicking on it and selecting 'Change Password'.

Go Home and select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color. Select the color that you want. ... Select the text or graphic that you want to highlight. To stop highlighting, select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color and select Stop Highlighting, or press Esc.
First, select an annotation using the Select tool, or select several of them using the Lasso select tool. You can now lock the annotation by clicking the Lock icon, a padlock, on the toolbar. You can also right-click on the annotation, scroll down to Selection on the pop-up menu and then over to Lock.
Highlight PDF Text Go to the “Comment” tab and select “Highlight”. Use your cursor to select the text you want to highlight. If you are looking highlight a large area of text, you also have the option of using the “Area Highlight” Button.
Click on the cursor tool in your toolbar, then highlight the text you'd like to edit. Right-click on the highlighted copy, and you'll be given a series of options including “Highlight Text,” “Replace Text” and “Add Note to Text.” Save your document by going to the “File” menu and clicking “Save.”
Check Advanced>Security>Show Security Properties for the list of what you can specifically restrict on an individual PDF. You can specifically Restrict 'Filling of Form Fields' on the PDF, and have the security model be a password. The rep knows the password that makes the form editable, but the client doesn't.
