What do you like best?
It's is easy to use and convenient, because I can access it from any of my computers, whether in office or out of town on my laptop.

It's nice to be able to pull a form into the application and fill it out and then copy, save, send, etc. It makes all of our forms, applications look very professional.

Easy to Use It's kind of a time saver in the end with not have to use the typewriter or hand write them, would be easier though if you didn't have type each form, if they are the same it should copy the data onto each one. I liked that I didn't have to pull out (yes it's a dinosaur) typewriter to fill out my 1099's every year any more once I found this program online. I can also use it for other forms as well. I don't like that you have to retype each 1099 for each copy of the form, it should carry them forward to each copy and you just review them for differences.

Wage plan codes are letter indicators used by the Employment Development Department (EDD) automated data systems to determine whether the total subject wages reported for an employee can be used for Unemployment Insurance (UI) and/ or Disability Insurance (DI)* benefit claims.
The agency creates a record in its files--called a wage item--that identifies the individual, his employer, and the individual's earnings for the quarter. The agency reports the number of wage items on the ETA 581 report. This count is one of the workload items used to allocate UI administrative funds.
Personal Income Tax (PIT) wages are cash and noncash payments subject to state income tax. Wages that must be reported on an individual's California income tax return are PIT wages. Most payments for employees' services are reportable as PIT wages.
Wage Record Count In what are called “wage reporting” States, employers are required to report what are called “wage items” or “wage records.” This report is a listing by Social Security number of all persons who received pay during the quarter along with their total wages.
The Total Subject Wages in Item G on the DE 9C are wages subject to Unemployment Insurance (UI), Employment Training Tax (ETT), and/or State Disability Insurance* (SDI). The FT utilizes the PIT Wages and PIT Withheld information to verify an individual's wages and withholding.
States generally require employers to file quarterly reports listing all employees and their wages during the reporting period. The wage-reporting laws don't require employers to report wages or earnings for non-employees or independent contractors. Employers often pay unemployment taxes when filing wage reports.
