How to Use the Redact Text Feature in pdfFiller

The Redact Text feature in pdfFiller allows you to easily remove sensitive or confidential information from your PDF documents. Follow these simple steps to use this feature:

Open the PDF document you want to redact in pdfFiller.

Click on the 'Redact' button in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Select the text you want to redact by clicking and dragging your cursor over it.

Once the text is selected, a redaction box will appear. You can resize and reposition the box as needed to cover the text completely.

If you want to redact multiple instances of the same text, you can use the 'Find and Redact' option. Click on the 'Find and Redact' button in the toolbar and enter the text you want to redact. pdfFiller will automatically find and redact all instances of that text in the document.

After you have selected all the text you want to redact, click on the 'Apply' button in the redaction box.

A confirmation message will appear, asking if you want to permanently remove the redacted text. Click 'OK' to proceed.

What do you like best?
