Long-tap a word to select it on a web page. Drag the set of bounding handles to highlight all the text you want to copy. Tap Copy on the toolbar that appears. Tap and hold on the field where you want to paste the text until a toolbar appears.
Copy and paste text on an Android smartphone and tablet Press and hold down on any text with your finger and then let go. Upon letting go, a menu should appear on top-right of the screen (shown to the right) that allows you to copy. Highlight any other text you want to copy and then press your finger on Copy to copy.
Press the Ctrl key and hold it down. While doing that, press the letter C once, and then let go of the Ctrl key. You've just copied the contents to the clipboard. To paste, hold down the Ctrl or Command key again, but this time press the letter V once.
In order to select everything in the current window use menu “Edit”→”Select All” (Ctrl-A). To copy to the clipboard you must press the “Copy”-button (Ctrl-C or Ctrl-Insert).
Now you can select text using your mouse or the keyboard (hold down the Shift key and use the left or right arrows to select words). Press CTRL + C to copy it, and press CTRL + V to paste it in the window. You can also easily paste text you've copied from another program into the command prompt using the same shortcut.
If you want to highlight one word at a time, press Ctrl key while holding down Shift, and then press the left or right arrow key. If you want to highlight a whole line of text, move your cursor to the start of the line, hold the Shift key, and then press the down arrow.
