Revise Chart Release: edit PDFs from anywhere

The Portable Document Format or PDF is a widely used document format for various reasons. It's accessible on any device to share files between devices with different displays and settings. PDF documents will always appear the same, regardless of whether you open them on an Apple computer, a Microsoft one or on smartphones.

The next reason is data safety: PDF files are easy to encrypt, so it's safe to share any personal data in them. PDF files are not only password-protected, but analytics provided by an editing service allows document owners to identify those who’ve accessed their documents in order to track potential security breaches.

pdfFiller is an online editor that allows you to create, modify, sign, and send your PDF files directly from your browser. Thanks to the integrations with the most popular solutions for businesses, you can upload a data from any system and continue where you left off. Use the finished document for personal needs or share it with others in any convenient way — you'll get notified when a person opens and fills out the form.

Use powerful editing tools such as typing text, annotating, and highlighting. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to the third-party integration cloud. Add and edit visual content. Ask your recipient to complete the document and request an attachment if needed. Add fillable fields and send for signing. Change a template’s page order.

Follow these steps to edit your document:

01
Go to the pdfFiller uploader.
02
Proceed to editing features by clicking the Tools tab. Now you can change the document's content.
03
Add input fields if you need any: pdfFiller supports text, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdown lists etc.
04
Finish editing by clicking Done and choose what you want to do next with this PDF: save it to your device, print or send via email, fax or sharing link.

Worked well. Had trouble centering business name on top of each form. I created form for friend. Need to know how he can access it from his computer.

I had some initial problems (undoing things and a pop-up overtime I used text boxes). Customer support representative Ellie guided me through it and was able to resolve most of my problems. I still wish I could use the text boxes without the pop-up though. I believe at this time it is not possible.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Most Sectional charts are printed every six months; however, if your chart is more than 8 weeks old it probably isn't current. Aeronautical information changes frequently; more frequently than every six months.
The FAA prints two dates on the side of each plate. Although they look like expiration dates, they are not. They simply represent the print cycle of when that plate was last printed by the FAA. That is, even if a plate doesn't change for two years, every 28 days, it will have a new set of dates on the side.
Charts are issued every 56 days (two DIRAC dates), but contain a mid-cycle update at 28 days. Each set, the original and update, is only effective for one DIRAC cycle, which are the dates published on the side of the charts.
Charts are revised every 56 days.
You will receive only current, up-to-date charts. Revised every 56 days.
In the worksheet, click the cell that contains the title or data label text that you want to change. Edit the existing contents, or type the new text or value, and then press ENTER. The changes you made automatically appear on the chart.
Make sure your chart is visible on the screen, and you have selected it. (You do this by clicking on the chart.) Select the text element whose font you wish to change. ... Choose Font from the Format menu. ... Change the font settings, as desired. ... Click on OK.
