How to Rework a PDF?

pdfFiller makes it easy to revamp any document online. You can type anywhere, highlight, redact or erase words and phrases, add signatures, images, sticky notes or customized watermarks without any coding.

To get started, go to MY DOCS and select a document to be opened in the pdfFiller editor.

Across the top you’ll see a PDF toolbar. Click on a tool icon to select it, then mouse over the area on your file where you want to place it and click again. Click on the Text button to start typing or insert your sentences by dragging the text box. You can change the font type, text size or color by clicking the corresponding icons in the toolbar. Make your words bold, italic or underline it using the B, I and U icons respectively.

pdfFiller’s online PDF editor allows you to quickly sign your form. Press the Sign button and choose how you’d like to add your signature. You can draw it with your finger or mouse, upload it from your computer or capture it with a smartphone or webcam.

Select the corresponding option on the Edit tab to highlight or erase words. To obscure the information choose the blackout tool.

Use the tab on the right to number pages, add a watermark or view the revision history by clicking the VERSIONS tab.

When you’ve finished editing your file, click DONE. Now you can email, print or save your form.

To rework a PDF online, upload a file to your account or choose an existing file.

Choose the 'Text' button in the 'Edit' tab and start typing. Place text by clicking and dragging the box.

Click the 'Signature' or 'Picture' button to sign your document or insert an image. You can also add sticky notes, comments or text boxes to any PDF file.

To rework a PDF, click the corresponding icon on the toolbar to highlight, redact or erase any content or image.

To rework your PDF further, click the 'ADD WATERMARK' and the 'VERSIONS' tabs on the right or the 'PAGES' tab on the left.

When you're done reworking, click 'DONE' and email, share, print or save your form.

No Scanning! I'm just PDF Filling It makes capturing my customer's signature hassle-free as my business is online. No do-overs! Thank you! Because I make it mandatory for them to sign after placing an order. If they decide to change the order, within the specified time, they can sign to that too. What I like least about this software is that when actually filling in the blanks, the words do not align with the original text. This is an area that needs improvement.

Another way to open the Content pane is to click on View > Tools > Content and that should open it up. Another thing you can do is add the Content through Quick Tools and you will be able to edit the text that way as well. To set that up you go to View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Quick Tools and add it from there.
Can I edit a PDF that I signed? If you're the only one signer, you can remove the signature and then work on the document or edit the source document. To remove your signature, right-click the signature and then choose Clear Signature. How to edit PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat. Click the “Edit PDF” tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text or update fonts using selections from the Format list. Save your edited PDF: Name your file and click the “Save” button. That's it.
Edit a PDF Go to File > Open. Find the PDF and open it (you might have to select Browse and find the PDF in a folder). Word tells you that it's going to make a copy of the PDF and convert its contents into a format that Word can display. After your edits, you save it as a Word doc or a PDF.
The undo button is an arrow pointing left, the redo button is an arrow pointing right. Alternatively, you can undo the last changes by pressing Ctrl+Z. You can reverse the last undo command by pressing Shift+Ctrl+Z. A tip: before you start editing a document or filling a form, make a backup copy of the blank document.

But if you're not sure how to enable editing mode, here's what you have to do. Open the PDF you want to edit in Adobe Acrobat. Go to the Tools tab in the upper left-hand corner. Click `Edit PDF`.
