How do I print an encrypted PDF?
Tap the Job status display and tap the [Print] tab.
Tap the [Spool] key.
Tap the print job key for the encrypted PDF file.
Tap the [Enter Password for Encrypt PDF] key on the action panel.
Enter the password (32 characters or fewer) and tap the [Yes] key.
Why can't I print a secured PDF?
Generally, a secured PDF document can't be printed unless the password security is removed. That being said, you have to remove the permissions' password before you can print the PDF document.
Can a PDF be protected from printing?
As you can print secured PDF documents, you can also encrypt them with a password to ensure that no other party can view, modify, or print your PDF file. The process to do so entails going to the 'Protect PDF' tool, pick a password, and save your PDF back to your local hard disk.
