On the Protect tab, in the Certify Document group, click Certify. On the Certify Profile Wizard, choose the actions you want to permit from the Permitted actions list. Click Next. Select a digital ID to certify with, and choose whether to make the certificate visible. Click Next.
Open the PDF and choose Tools > Protection > Encrypt > Encrypt with Password 6. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. 7. Select Require A Password To Open The Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
PDF Documents Can Be Secured Using Public Keys Or Passwords. All PDF security relies on encryption, but the method for obtaining access to the file can vary according to your security needs. You'll need to ensure the file access rights on your computer are sufficient to ensure the document is safe.
1- Open the PDF File & click on the Lock icon. 2. Select Permission Details and click on the Security Methods menu, choose No Security.
First, before you secure your PDF you need to add unsigned signature field (one or more) at the places in the document where you want the signatures to appear. If you received secured PDF from someone else, and it does not contain unsigned signature fields then you cannot sign it.
