When can I sign my national letter of intent?
No. Signing the CLI is voluntary at any and all times. Prospective student-athletes are not required to sign the CLI on the first day of the signing period. Many prospective student-athletes do choose to sign their CLI on the first available day to bring an end to the recruiting process.
When can you sign a letter of intent?
LOI are only signed the first year. You do not have to sign one each year. Letters of Intent are for NCAA D1 and D2 only.
Do you sign a national letter of intent for Division 3?
Division 3 athletes don't have a CLI to sign, but they can sign a non-binding standardized celebratory form It can be signed by a prospect after the prospect has been accepted to a Division III institution.
Can a player recommit after signing letter of intent?
But if you recommit after signing a National Letter of Intent, you could face some penalties and other consequences. What Is the National Letter of Intent (CLI)? The CLI is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and the college/university.
Can coaches attend signing day?
NCAA coaches can not hand-deliver or be present for your signing day ceremony. You may see coaches from other governing bodies in attendance at a signing party at your school, so do not misperceive that as you are not as important to your college coach if they are not attending.
