I wanted to be able to duplicate a filled form and make a couple of changes. Then save with a new name. I did download and rename before I did this. glad I did. PdfFiller overwrote the file. All is well since I downloaded the original.

Wide and narrow (sometimes stacked and stacked) are terms used to describe two different presentations for tabular data. Narrow, or stacked data is presented with one column containing all the values and another column listing the context of the value. Here are two example of the same data in the two formats.
Data stacking involves splitting a data set up into smaller data files, and stacking the values for each of the variables into a single column. It is a type of data wrangling, which is used when preparing data for further analysis.
If data are stacked, the values for all groups are in a single column. A corresponding column of labels identifies the group. This column of labels is sometimes referred to as a grouping column, By Column, or subscript column. If data are stacked, each column contains observations from one group.
Another way to merge two data frames in R is to use the function stack. In order to use stack, you need to install the package Stack into your R library. To convert a dataset from stacked to stacked form, use the stack function. Note that you can only stack numeric variables.
