A page break defines where one page ends and another one begins. You can see the range of cells that will be printed by selecting (View > Page Break Preview). This lets you see the print area clearly with all the page breaks identified. The White area denotes the area that will be printed.

Example of Automatic Page Break: To remove all the manual page breaks from a sheet (when the number of printing pages exceeds 1), follow the below-mentioned steps: Select all the cells in the sheet by pressing Ctrl+A. Press Ctrl+A+A from a cell in the Current Region/List.

Start a new line of text inside a cell in Excel. To start a new line of text or add spacing between lines or paragraphs of text in a worksheet cell, press Alt+Enter to insert a line break. Click the location where you want to break the line. Press Alt+Enter to insert the line break.
