I love this tool I love this tool.
I love this tool I love this tool. I shared it with my mom who still has to fax things and I did not want her leaving her home to fax at other businesses. I think a video on how to create more fillable boxes would be helpful. Although I figured it out, it took me about 30 minutes. I can imagine for even less tech savvy people it could take longer.

The court estimates that the cost of raising one child is $1,000 a month. The non-custodial parent's income is 66.6% of the parent's total combined income. Therefore, the non-custodial parent pays $666 per month in child support, or 66.6% of the total child support obligation.
The calculation of child support involves the use of a formula which has certain variables. The most significant variables are each party's income, daycare expenses, the cost of medical insurance, and the living arrangements of the children.
Because child support is so dependent on each parent's income, i.e., it could be as low as $50 per child or as high as $2505 per child (or more if you are off the guidelines), it is not practical nor helpful to determine an “average” amount of child support.
However, negotiating a joint custody agreement won't automatically reduce your child support amount to zero. The amount joint custodians will owe depends on the income of both parents, who pays certain expenses for the children, and the number of overnights the kids spend in each parent's home.
Filing the Documents Take the original and two (2) copies of the Motion to the Civil Division of the Clerk of Superior Court's office in the county where your case is filed. The Clerk will stamp each Motion “filed,” place the original in the Court file and return two (2) copies of the “filed” document to you.
