I really appreciated the customizable aspects of your software -- it made all the difference to my forms! The only thing that I would've liked more is if upon searching for the form, you could filter and guarantee that its the most up to date form the gov has issued. Thank you

Great software, some things are not intuitive You can edit documents, replace text, add fillable fields, etc. Great for documents that are used often and just need a few details changed. "Replace text" can be difficult to use. Also the process of saving a document is kind of clunky.

Panels will also usually notice if there is an obvious omission from references and letters --- e.g., direct supervisor in previous position is not listed as a reference. In view of this practice, I would say that it is not a good idea to write a negative recommendation --- just decline to write one instead.
If it's fair and accurate, then of course you can provide a bad reference. However, your reference must reflect your former employee's entire tenure with the company, not just particular negatives.
‍Employee Relations: “She purposely caused havoc in the office with her gossip.” ‍Financial Skills: “Well, that's why our company had a major layoff – left her in charge of finances!” ‍Interpersonal Relations: “He's not the type to go knock on doors and talk with people.” ‍Leadership: “He had no leadership skills.”
The letter lists duties expected of any student, but is vague and does not give specific, accurate details about skills or attitudes, communicating that the letter writer knew the student well. There is also no comment on the quality of the student's work.
Think of something positive you can say about the employee. For example, an employee may have been incompetent but pleasant. You can praise their sunny attitude. Alternately, the employee might have been a bad fit for your company based on personality.
Bad recommendation letters can be hard to put a finger on, because they aren't necessarily critical or disparaging about a student. Instead, they might leave a poor impression because they come off as unenthusiastic, unspecific, or simply too short.
