So far so good. I don't particularly like receiving notification of pricing terms after I've done the work of filling in the form(s). You should present pricing up front. Otherwise, I appreciate the service you're providing.

What is the purpose of having a Power of Attorney? A Power of Attorney is a document in which an individual appoints someone to serve as his Attorney-in-Fact or as his agent. This individual may handle the financial affairs of such a person as if the agent or Attorney-in-Fact owned the property himself.
If the agent is acting improperly, family members can file a petition in court challenging the agent. If the court finds the agent is not acting in the principal's best interest, the court can revoke the power of attorney and appoint a guardian. The power of attorney ends at death.
With a power of attorney, a person (called the principal) names another person to act as their attorney-in-fact (or agent). When the power of attorney is activated, the attorney-in-fact can make decisions for the principal. Generally, a power of attorney should be effective as soon as it is signed.
No! Someone can sign a power of attorney (or any legal document, for that matter) only if they are legally competent to do so.
General durable power of attorney, also known as power of attorney for finances, allows the named agent to act on behalf of the principal to handle that person's finances such as banking, paying bills or selling a house.
General durable power of attorney, also known as power of attorney for finances, allows the named agent to act on behalf of the principal to handle that person's finances such as banking, paying bills or selling a house.
Although a financial POA gives you control over the finances of the principal, you do not become personally liable for debts incurred by the principal. This means that even if nursing home bills exceed the principal's ability to pay, you do not have to use your assets to cover the outstanding balance.
Types of Power of Attorney. There are different types of powers of attorney for different purposes. Some of the main types include: general, enduring, limited, healthcare, durable and springing, all of which will be explained here.
