I'm definitely not tech savvy. Old school pen and paper here. The pdf autofiler is an old girls new best friend. Everything is clearly explained and help is there if or when you need it. I believe I may keep it.

I'm not sure why Adobe Acrobat Pro…
I'm not sure why Adobe Acrobat Pro isn't this easy to use. Adobe Acrobat Pro feels like it was created in a silo by people who don't do editing on a daily basis. Also, it doesn't install, on one of the latest Macbooks on the planet. Thank god for PDFEscape and PDFFiller. Thank you god.

duplicate pages
I like being able to duplicate pages, that was super helpful. It was easy to add the text boxes where I needed them. The only trouble is in downloading the document to my regular google drive. Wish that was more straight forward.

Easy to edit.
I had a little trouble completing the form correctly but it was my fault. I went back and made corrections easily and all seems fine.

Free not so Free
Easy to use and alter forms to fit my needs. Was disappointed that it seemed to be free until you get to the end and you have to pay. Thankfully there was the option of the 30 day free trial.

How do I get OAS supplement?
Do you qualify you are 65 or older. you live in Canada. you receive the Old Age Security (OAS) pension. your income is below $20,832 if you are single, widowed, or divorced. your income plus the income of your spouse/common-law partner is below: $27,552 if your spouse/common-law partner receives the full OAS pension.
How far in advance should you apply for OAS?
The earliest you can apply is 11 months before the date you want your OAS pension to start. See the Reference Guide for more information about choosing your OAS pension start date.
What is the best time to apply for OAS?
The earliest OAS can start is at age 65, but for every month you delay OAS payments the benefit increases by 0.6%. If you choose to delay for a full year your OAS benefits would be 7.2% higher. If you choose to delay the full 5-years to age 70 your OAS benefits would be 36% higher!
Can OAS be applied for online?
To be able to apply online, you must: be at least 1 month past your 64th birthday. not be currently receiving an Old Age Security pension. have not already applied for the Old Age Security pension and Service Canada is not currently assessing your application.
Can you apply for OAS outside of Canada?
Receiving your OAS pension outside of Canada You can qualify to receive Old Age Security pension payments while living outside of Canada if one if these reasons applies to you: you lived in Canada for at least 20 years after turning 18. you lived and worked in a country that has a social security agreement with Canada.
Do you have to take the old age pension at 65?
If eligible, your OAS pension can start as early as the month following your 65th birthday. You can choose to delay receiving your OAS pension up to age 70, which may increase your monthly amount by 0.6 percent for every month you delay (7.2 percent per year).

Apply using a paper application Complete the form included with your letter or download a new Application for the Old Age Security Pension and the Guaranteed Income Supplement (ISP-3550) Include certified true copies of the required documents.
Do you have to apply for OAS in Canada or is it automatic?
In some cases, Service Canada will be able to automatically enroll you for the OAS pension. In other cases, you will have to apply for the Old Age Security pension. Service Canada will inform you if you have been automatically enrolled. In most cases, you do not have to apply to get this benefit.
