Filling PDF files for formal use The product is very easy to use and intuitive, I didn't feel something was missing from my work with the application, in addition, it's global availability is a great advantage. The product offer mainly online editing, which makes it hard in case you wish to work on the flight or just go offline, in addition, the free use is not exactly free as it asks for a payment prior the file conversion.

Most of the reasons why you can't edit PDF files have to do with the software you are using. If you use the wrong or substandard software, you may be unable to edit a PDF document. It allows the user to not only open PDF documents but also edit them. You can add and remove text or images.
Insert text variables Place the insertion point where you want the variable to appear. Choose Type > Text Variables > Insert Variable, and then choose the variable you want to insert.
Insert a field in the file Open the topic. In the Author toolbar, click the Insert Variables/Snippets/Fields icon , and then click Field. In the Fields dialog box, select field type in the left list and then select its format in the right list. Navigate to the field that you want to insert and select it. Click Insert.
Create variable In Acrobat Home, select See all tools > Use print production > Preflight. In the Preflight dialog box, select the Profiles panel, and select Edit next to the profile name you want to edit. Select the variable icon. Select New Variable. Specify the following parameters for the new variable: Select OK.
Use variables in the Native PDF templates Select Insert Variable/Fields . In the Variable dialog box, select the name of the variable to insert it in the header area. You can also enter the search string in the text box.
Inserting Variables in a PDF Document Open the PDF document. Click the appropriate field type button. Double-click the document at the location where you want to insert the field. In the field properties box, under General, type the name of the variable in the Name field and replace the forward slash “/” with a dot “.”.
Fire up Adobe Acrobat Pro > Click Tools > Find Prepare Form. You have the option to open a file from your device or scanner, or you can choose to create a new one. Step 2. Navigate to the “Drop Down” button > Place the box in the location you like > Click “All Properties” to call out a pop-up window.
Create form fields Open the document in Acrobat and select Edit > Prepare a form > Create form to convert your document to a PDF form. Choose a form field from the left pane. On the page, select where you want to add the field to create a field with the default size. Place the field at your desired location.
