Over the top excellent customer service
First and foremost i want to express the excellent customer service i received from Daniel yesterday evening to the wee hours of this morning. i couldn't figure out how to correct or update a form and my computer literacy was no where to be found. I ask Daniel to please have patience with me and he went above and beyond my expectations. Daniel not only spent hours on trying to help me figure out the issue he also walked me through how to send him a screenshot of the issue! Not once did i ever feel rushed or uncomfortable especially when i wasn't able to follow his instructions. He not only walked me through fixing the form; he also helped me fill in some fields i was unable to do. The most awesome experience was he stayed on the line with me the entire time!!! This is the kind of customer service that is such a rare commodity and i was blessed enough to be on the receiving end with Daniel. How do I schedule a permit test?
You will need to make a DMV appointment for the written test. We recommend that you wait until you have your certificate in hand before making an appointment to avoid rescheduling. Tests are not given after 4:30pm. Make a DMV appointment by phone: 1-800-777-0133 or online (select the office visit appointment option).
Can you schedule a permit test online?
Make an appointment through our Online Drive Test Scheduling System if you have an instruction permit and have met all the requirements. Online scheduling is available for non-commercial Class C (autos) and Class M (motorcycles) licenses. Most offices also offer stand-by skills test.
Can I take my permit test online?
You will probably take the permit test at the DMV. In a few states like Florida, can also take the test online. However, most states still require you to take the test in person. We created Driving-Tests.org to help you quickly find information about your local DMV and the knowledge exams in your state.
Can you walk into DMV and take a permit test?
You must pass a vision exam and a written knowledge test. Otherwise, you won't have to take a driving test. You must transfer your out-of-state license in person at your local DMV office. Currently, only four offices accept walk-ins as well as appointments. The rest are by appointment only.
Can you take the permit test online in California?
You can take the permit test at any DMV office that offers driver's license services. Find a DMV office location near you for your permit test. To speed up the process, schedule an appointment online at http://dmv.ca.gov or by phone at 1-800-777-0133.
How do you set up a permit test?
Step 1: Be prepared to take the written permit test. Step 2: Know what to bring to the DMV. Step 3: Go to the DMV. Step 4: Wait up to 2 weeks for your permit to come in the mail. Step 5: Prepare for your road test. Step 6: Take your road test.

Be at least 16 years old. Prove your identity. Pass an eyesight test. Pass a Driver Knowledge Test (DOT) Pay the license and test fees, unless you're eligible for a concession.
