Hold the pointer to the right of the document title, click the arrow, and then choose Browse All Versions. Click tick marks along the timeline to browse versions. Do one of the following: To restore your document to a previous version, display the version, and then click Restore.
Locate and open the target document. Once on the interface, go to the REVIEW tab from the top. On the REVIEW tab, from the displayed options, click Track Changes button from the Tracking section. From the same section, click the All Markup option from the drop-down list displaying Simple Markup.
Make sure the Review tab of the ribbon is displayed. Click the Show Markup tool (in the Tracking group) and then click Reviewers. Make sure a check mark appears only beside the reviewer whose changes you want to see. Click the down-arrow under the Accept tool in the Changes category. Choose Accept All Changes Shown.
Display the Review tab of the ribbon. In the Tracking group, click on the Show Markup drop-down list. Uncheck anything you want to preserve. Click the down-arrow under the Accept tool, in the Changes group. Choose Accept All Changes Shown. Again click the Show Markup drop-down list.
Click on the Review tab above the text field. Click the Show Markup tool button (in the Tracking group). Clear all the ticked options except the Formatting option. Click the arrow on the Accept icon (in the Changes group). Choose to Accept All Changes Shown.
To be sure all changes are visible, click. In the review toolbar, then set the change tracking view to Markup. Do any of the following: For a specific change: Move the pointer over the marked text, then click Accept or Reject. In the Comments & Changes sidebar, you can accept or reject a change.
To accept all changes in the document, click the dropdown arrow of the Accept icon and select Accept All Changes in Document.
Place the pointer at the beginning of the document. To accept all changes, select Review, select the arrow below Accept, and then select Accept All Changes. To reject all changes, select Review, select the arrow below Reject, and then select Reject All Changes.
Open Microsoft Word. Choose the Review tab at the top of the document. Either click the Track Changes button (PC) or toggle the Track Changes switch (Mac). Make sure that you change 'Simple Markup' to 'All Markup' from the drop-down bar next to Track Changes.

If you cannot edit your Word document, it's probably protected with password. Open Word 2016 document you have problems with. Go to Developer tab (if you don't have Developer tab, go to File>Options>Customize Ribbon> and select Developer) In the Protection group, go to Document Protection.
Accept/Delete a single tracked change: Open your document. On the Review tab, in the Changes group, choose Next or Previous. Accept/Delete all tracked changes: Open your document.
On the Review tab, under Comments, click Next to select a comment. On the Review tab, click Delete. To delete all comments at once, click the arrow next to Delete, and then click Delete All Comments in Document.
