I would recommend, with caveats about the cost based on how much it would be used. Many government forms and other PDFs are already fillable, so PDFfiller isn't needed that often for the average person. However, it was very nice to use.

easy to use and reasonably priced. The only difficulty I had was finding how to get back to the template once I'd done one 1099. There is probably a way to keep my company info for each subsequent form but I didn't find it. I only had a few 1099's so this worked great and will want to use it next year.

One of the better document editing apps available Allows you to go completely paperless. Create pdf files from Excel, Word, etc. Merge or split different files. Offers electronic signatures. Easy to operate. Can track if the document has been viewed. The app does what it says it does but in order to use more advanced features and options, the cost can get expensive.

Sort your data Highlight the group of cells you'd like to sort. To select the entire sheet, click the top left corner of the sheet. If your columns have titles, click Data has header row. Select the column you'd like to be sorted first and whether you would like that column sorted in ascending or descending order.
Normally, in Google sheets, you can apply the Sort feature to sort data alphabetically manually, but, sometimes, you may want to sort the data automatically in a column. For example, if there are some changes or new data added in Column A, the data will be sorted automatically as following screenshot shown.
To automatically sort the column data alphabetically: From your browser (Google Chrome preferred), open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Highlight the cell that will display the results for the data you want automatically alphabetized.
On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Highlight the group of cells you'd like to sort. ... Click Data Sort range. If your columns have titles, click Data has header row.
Click anywhere inside the table you want to sort. Launch the add-on by clicking Add-ons, then Docs Tools, then either Sort the selection ascending or Sort the selection descending. This will open a pop-up window with your sort options.
Click to select a range of data, such as A1 through A20, or click the header to select the entire column of data. Click the AZ icon in the Data tab's Sort and Filter group to sort the list alphabetically from A to Z. Click the ZA icon to sort in reverse alphabetical order.
On your Android phone or tablet, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. To select a column, tap a letter at the top. To open the menu, tap the top of the column again. Tap More. Scroll down and tap SORT A-Z or SORT Z-A. Your data will be sorted.
