hello guys once again welcome back to another Android app development tutorial in this video sure I am going to show you how to display a chart in your Android application so here is an example of chart so this is an example of bar chart so here the x-axis represents year and y-axis represents growth rate of an organization so here is the legend so here each colored bars represents growth rate in each year so this is an example of a bar chart now I will show you another example so here is another example so this is an example of a pie chart here also the same data so here each colors represents years and growth rate is also specified on each color and here is the legend so here each color represents year and here is the description of this chart so this is an example of a pie chart so now I'm going to demonstrate how to display this two chart that means bar chart and pie chart using a library called the MP and Louie chart so for this application we need some data so in this example we need two data we need year and corresponding lot rate so here I save all this information in a web server Here I am going to use sing my localhost as web server so here I have a web server application it is already running I already create the needed database in one server so go to localhost looking into phpMyAdmin so here we have a database called the grotto DB and that database contain a table called the gratin phone so here we have a table contain three columns ID year and growth rate so here we have some year and here we have some growth rate in each year so now I already place a PHP script inside the one server root folder so inside the root folder of one server I create a folder called rotten fall in that folder I create another folder called the scripts that contain a PHP script that'll turn some JSON data maybe show you the content of the speech B script so these are the credentials for the web server we have Austin name username password and database name we establish connection to the database using this function called MySQL I connect and pass all the needed credentials and if the correction is success so this is the SQL curry for retrieve all the information from the table here we execute the SQL curry by using this function called MySQL like Laurie here a response is an array now we have to fetch information from each row for that here I use a while loop we fetch each row by using this function called MySQL I fetch a sock and we save each other into this variable called row and finally we save the wrong in the in the form of a name a new pair into the array called the response by using this function called array push then we make the jason we perform the JSON encode on that particular array and return by the result and finally we close the connection to the database so this is the PHP script available on server for returning a JSON data so now we can test this so now I'm going to run that PHP script available on my web server here is the pod so this is...
