How do I activate my RAY license?

To activate your licenses, all you need to do is click ENABLE from the ONLINE LICENSING menu. You will then be prompted to enter your username and password. Once the activation is successful, you will be able to see the list of your available licenses on the License Server home page.

How do I start RAY server?

Make sure the hardware lock is in the computer that will be running V-Ray. Start the license server on Windows Start > All Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray License Server for x64 > Launch V-Ray license server. If you see “Get status of the server” you have connection to the license server.

How do I change my RAY license server?

Run the V-Ray license client configuration utility from Windows Start > All Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray for Maya ## > Licensing > Change license settings. This will show you the window below, where you can specify the IP address of the machine that is running the V-Ray License Server.

How do I activate my RAY trial?

In order to sign up for a trial, please log into our website with an active account and fill in the relevant application form for the product of your choice here. Once you submit your application, your free trial will be activated, and you will have 30 days to test the selected product.

How do I remove RAY license?

To remove the V-Ray license server, either use the Add/Remove Programs applet from the Control Panel or select Windows Start > All Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray license server > Uninstall V-Ray license server.
