This was my first test This was my first test, it seemed to go very well, I've tried a few of these programs and to be honest, this one works the best. I will have to explore it a little further to see if it does what I need todo. Actually so far it's the best I've tried. Actually I think that it offers more than I really need, but if it fits and completes everything I plan on doing that to me would be 100%.

Just started using it . Too early, but looks Good! 10/2/2020 I have been using PDFfiller and it is great! I am using my own PDF forms, therefore, I would rather browse the files on my computer rather drag and drop. But this is a personal preference. The drag and drop does work. I am using it to prepare and send contracts to customers and it is well accepted. I have attempted to do this with other popular word processing and spreadsheets and they are very complicated and don't work for me. I like PDFfiller very much.

Industry best practice for third party screening providers should be to keep all background check records, whether paper or electronic, for approximately 6 years after initial ordering. Records to retain in a consumer background check file can include: Applicant resume.
While there are no federal limitations, 12 states (at the time of writing this article) have passed their own laws to limit how far back a background check can go. These laws go into effect depending on the salary of the position being applied for and limit the criminal background check for convictions to 7 years.
In general, background checks typically cover seven years of criminal and court records, but can go back further depending on compliance laws and what is being searched.
Under the FCRA, convictions can appear on a background report regardless of when they occurred. However, some states have limited the scope of conviction reporting to seven years, including California, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Mexico, New York, New Hampshire, and Washington.
One such requirement is known as the 7-year rule. Essentially, the 7-year rule states that all civil suits, civil judgments, arrest records, and paid tax liens can't be reported in a background investigation (or other consumer report) after 7 years.
How far back does an employment background check go? Typically, employers requesting an employment background screening on an applicant will request a seven-year history, although some states allow reporting information of up to 10 years.
It may vary by state to state, but usually employment records are kept for a minimum of 7 years since the last date of employment. That said, the 7 years figure is a minimum, and any employer could keep records, including performance info and termination records indefinitely.
As part of the act, employers must keep various employment records, including job applications, for any permanent positions for one year from the date the application was received.
