Some of the fill ins didn't exactly fill in right, but this was my first time using PDF Filler, so maybe it is just part of the learning curve for me. Thanks.

A thank you I was looking for options for a one off issue I had with PDF forms and signed up to PDF Filler for the 1 month free trial. I realised shortly after this that I would have little use for this facility in the future but neglected to cancel the subscription within the free trial period. At the conclusion of the free trial period I was billed for the annual subscription, however I contacted the company via Customer Services live chat and without much trouble they cancelled the subscription and refunded the fee. Excellent service and very professional advisors.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Most stains should be sealed to prevent bleeding. After smoothing the stained wood, apply a sealer coat of thinned shellac, sanding sealer, or other appropriate sealer. Do not use shellac with NOR or water-base stains. If you plan to finish the piece with polyurethane, make sure the sealer is compatible.
Seal Oil-Based Stain Oil and water don't mix. Water-based poly can have adhesion problems when applied over an oil-based stain that's not thoroughly cured. That's why you should always apply a barrier coat of dew axed shellac to seal oil-based stain.
2 Answers. While oil-based stains dry and fix the colors (dyes and solid pigments) to the wood, stain manufacturers (Min wax, Cabot, others) strongly recommend a topcoat of finish to lock in the color and add a protective finish. The color will last longer and the surfaces in contact will be protected if you topcoat.
ANSWER: Yes! But the underlying finish has to be absolutely dry. When using water based topcoat over an oil based stain, allow oil based finishes, such as Java Gel Stain, to dry at least 72 hours before coating with water based topcoat. Oil based finishes amber over time.
You may apply the Min wax Water Based Polyurethane over a fully cured Min wax Wood Finish Stain (oil-based).
Step 1: Project overview. Sand. Step 2: Begin by sanding. Photo 1: Sand with the grain. Step 3: Clean the room. Step 4: Brush on the stain and wipe it off fast. Step 5: Brush on a sanding sealer. Step 6: Sand the sealer before varnishing. Step 7: Finish up with oil-based wood varnish.

Do I have to apply a clear coat after staining? While staining creates a rich, deep color that highlights natural wood grain, it does not provide long-term protection. A polyurethane top coat protects the wood from scratches, stains and water damage.
