Great pdf editing software
PDF Filler is an awesome piece of software. It is so good being able to edit docs online and save them without having to worry about retyping information because the pdf provided was not able to be edited
There is no version history which means if you make changes to the pdf you can backtrack to an earlier version unless it was saved separately

I found that I no longer needed pdfFiller but the subscription was renewed. Upon advising prfFiller they promptly refunded the subscription. A good and honest company.

Are settlement discussions admissible?
Specifically, Rule 408 says only that settlement communications are “not admissible.” However, just because a settlement communication may be inadmissible does not mean that the opposing party can't discover it.
What is a Rule 408 communication?
Rule 408 is a rule of evidence that applies in court proceedings. It basically prevents a person from presenting evidence of communications related to offers to compromise claims in order to show liability, invalidity or amount of a disputed claim. The rule reflects two legal principles.

Rule 408 Compromise Offers and Negotiations The court may admit this evidence for another purpose, such as proving a witness's bias or prejudice, negating a contention of undue delay, or proving an effort to obstruct a criminal investigation or prosecution.
What is the general rule concerning the admissibility of relevant evidence?
Relevant evidence includes any evidence that would make the existence of a material fact more probable or less probable than it would be without the evidence. As a general rule, relevant evidence is admissible, while evidence deemed irrelevant is not.
What is a confidential settlement communication?
However, your company can use the fact that it labeled the communication as a “CONFIDENTIAL SETTLEMENT COMMUNICATION” to indicate that the negotiations at issue related to an actual dispute, and not just conflicting terms.
Are settlement communications privileged?
Settlement negotiations are not protected from discovery by a settlement-negotiation privilege. Although the Federal Circuit declined to create a settlement-negotiation privilege, it did not hold that settlement negotiations are presumptively discoverable.
Does California Evidence Code 1152 mean?
Confidentiality protection in settlement negotiations comes from Evidence Code Section 1152. Section 1152 states that evidence of a compromise or offer of compromise is inadmissible to prove liability for loss or damage. The protections of Section 1152 extend to conduct and statements made in negotiation of an offer.
Are settlement communications confidential?
Section 1119(c) states that all communications, negotiations, or settlement discussions by and between participants in the course of a mediation shall remain confidential (emphasis added).
