Ease of use. From downloading to modifying. Short learning curve. Provided easy solution to modifying old forms by scanning/uploading and easy modification.
From what little I used it to create new forms, more flexibility would have been nice for import and modifying images. But since I rarely used this program for creation I may not have explored the features properly.

It is a little difficult to figure out how to load an existing form with the saved name. I also had to Google how to enlarge the font. Most of the help directions are outdated, but I did finally figure it out after a lot of wasted time. I DO like the program in general and love being able to convert and save in a different format.

How do you write a simple lease agreement?
Terms. The lease should state the length of the agreement. Rent. The amount of rent and when it is due. Deposits and fees. The names of all tenants. Occupancy limits. Restrictions on disruptive activity. Pets. Maintenance and repairs.
Is a handwritten lease legal?
FAQ Does the lease have to be in writing? In Alberta, you do not need a written lease. However, a written lease is a good idea because then both the landlord and the tenant are clear on their responsibilities.
Can I make my own lease agreement?
A lease can be written or verbal, but a verbal lease can be very difficult to enforce. If you decide to write your own lease make sure you include a clause that states if any condition is not legal, that the rest of the lease is still in effect.
Is a handwritten eviction notice legal?
Yes, the landlord can give you a hand-written notice to terminate your tenancy. There is no rule that it needs to be typed. However, there are rules on the contents of the notice.
Is it illegal to make a fake lease?
Yes, forging a legal document (a lease) is a crime. If you want to draw up a legitimate document, with a lease starting today, with a monthly rent of $1, there is nothing illegal about that. It certainly wouldn't be in your interest to bring up that it was a fake lease so that you could defraud another landlord.
What can make a lease invalid?
The Statute of Frauds in California requires that a lease for more than a year must be in writing. Consequently, an oral agreement for a rental period of a year or less is still valid where the parties intended to create such a lease. The failure to contain other elements does not cause the lease to be invalid.

A lease agreement is a written document that officially recognizes a legally binding relationship between two parties a landlord and a tenant. A landlord agrees to rent all (or a portion of) their property to a tenant for a fee, and the terms of that rental are laid out in the form of a lease agreement.
How do you write a lease agreement?
Familiarize yourself with your state's laws. Property management and real estate laws differ depending on what state -- and even city -- you live in. Write an explicit and easy-to-understand contract. Include all the stipulations that you require. Include details regarding the deposit. Consult with an attorney.
