The greatest part about this site is being able to search for all of the various different forms you need. Turbo Tax wanted $159 just to fill out tax forms only needed once a year. Saving a ton on this site!!

I'M disabled, and confined to a wheelchair. I'm not able to get out, and look for a place that will agree to fax things. I have arthritis real bad, and it is painful to hold a pen, and fill things out. The ability to do all of this for my nurses, and care-provider's, with PDF filler online is a true blessing. How do you make a read aloud interactive?

How do you engage students during read aloud?

What are read aloud strategies?
Read-aloud is an instructional practice where teachers, parents, and caregivers read texts aloud to children. The reader incorporates variations in pitch, tone, pace, volume, pauses, eye contact, questions, and comments to produce a fluent and enjoyable delivery.
How do you read to students?
Choose one student for each main character and tell them which pages you plan to read. Allow them a few minutes to review their parts, and then read the selection aloud to the class. You will read all the narration, but when it's time for a character to speak, he or she will stand up and do so with expression.

In a nutshell, during a read aloud, you read a book TO students, and during shared reading, you read WITH students. An interactive read-aloud is a literacy event whereby children actively engage in listening and talking about the text throughout the duration of the read-aloud. It is okay for children to interrupt the reading to share ideas, particularly when viewing an illustrated text or picture book.

Shared Reading is an interactive reading experience that occurs when students join in or share the reading of a book or other text while guided and supported by a teacher. The teacher explicitly models the skills of proficient readers, including reading with fluency and expression.
